Ingredients We Use

Avocado Oil is full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fatty acids that help the skin stay moisturized. It’s also a great oil to fight the aging process and treat irritated skin caused by acne, sun damage, and psoriasis.

Coconut Oil is very popular and used for many different purposes. The indigenous people of in tropical areas have used it for centuries to protect their skin as it provides a superior moisture barrier. It’s packed with proteins, healthy saturated fats and vitamin E. When applied to the skin it has an anti-fungal antibacterial effect. It has a really long shelf life and therefore keeps it’s freshness and potency. It softens dry skin, cracked lips, soothes irritated skin, and often used to remove makeup.

The Shea Tree is considered very sacred. The butter is extracted from the nuts that grow on the Shea Tree. Shea Butter is often used to protect the skin, soothe damaged skin, eczema flare ups, burns, because of it anti-inflammatory properties. We get ours from Ghana to support the woman over there that harvest the Shea nuts and work to extract the butter. Shea Butter is dated back to the ancient times of Kemet as well.

Sweet Almond is a carrier oil that has a light texture and absorbs really well into the skin. The oil is pressed from almonds and has a high level of Vitamin D, proteins and Olein Glyceride Linoleic Acid. Overall, it’s a great emollient, packed with antioxidants that rejuvenate the skin.

The Aloe is one amazing plant that my family and I enjoy taking care of. We simply ask the plant before breaking off pieces to use the gel inside. This is another ancient plant that has endless skin benefits. It can rid the skin from harmful bacteria, reduce inflammation, lighten dark spots, treat damaged or burned skin areas, and it balances the skin’s ph.

Sunflower Oil is very high in vitamin E which improves the appearance and wellness of skin and scarring. It’s a very light oil that is high in emollients and helps the skin retain moisture.

Luxurious Argan Oil has been used sinced the ancient times to moisturize and replenish the hair and skin. It has very high levels of antioxidants and vitamin e. Its used in our beard oil to condition and keep the hair moisturized.

We use only high quality essential oils. Just like the plant or herb they are extracted from, they have unique benefits and properties. We use them in our products to stimulate the olfactory nerve which transmits impulses to the brain. An aroma can trigger memories and emotions. Aromatherapy has been proven to cause a reaction immediately whether to calm, energize, balance, treat stress and anxiety, purify, uplift, focus, etc. This is why we hand selected specific essential oil blends to put in our intention based products for positive results.

We use herbs and botanicals that are directly from the earth while also recognizing their specific elemental properties. The herbs are selected because of their specific healing qualities. We also use herbs as natural colorants.

All of our sugar scrubs contain brown sugar to gently exfoliate the skin. Even though it is gentle on the skin, it does scrub old skin cells away to allow smoother, firmer, healthier skin to grow. Since brown sugar is a natural humectant, it gives the skin extra moisture and hydration. Therefore it doesn’t strip the skin.

Himalayan Sea Salt is extracted from ancient sea deposits in the Himalayan Mountains. The salts are rich in natural minerals like potassium, magnesium, and iron. Himalayan is one of the purest salts found that dates back to ancient times and is safe from modern environmental toxins. Relaxing in a warm bath infused with these salts can detox the body of impurities, soothe any aches or pains, cleanse the aura, balances the bodies ph, improves overall energy, all while providing the body with needed minerals.

Activated Charcoal absorbs toxins. It will draw out dirt, impurities, bacteria, etc from the skin. Our Detox Soap, scrubs, salts, and lotion contain this ingredient. It helps to unclog the pores which fights acne, it soothes bug bites, and has strong anti-fungal properties.

A highly absorbent clay used in our Cool Cat Shaving Soap. It removes excess oils from the pores and helps the hair lift up for a closer, smoother shave.
